What's Summer vacation without a little golf? Visit our Golf Pro at our on-site driving range for personalized instruction to take your game to the next level. Choose from beginner, short game, woods, wedge, or private lessons. Then take your game on the road to one of the nearby scenic and challenging courses.

Golf Driving Range
Our on-site driving range located on a hillside setting is fun for the whole family.
Open daily, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm. Small bucket of balls, $5; medium bucket, $8; large bucket, $10. Range clubs provided.
Junior Great Golf Escape for Beginners
Junior Great Golf Escape for Beginners for ages 8 - 12, lets you learn all the basics of golf while having fun with your friends.
Monday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, $129 per person, includes transportation, supervision & lunch. Requires sneakers or soft spikes for on-course play. Golf clubs provided if needed. Advanced registration is recommended.
Junior Intro to Golf
Open to ages 5 - 17. This clinic is an introduction to the sport with a focus on the fundamentals, golf etiquette, beginning to swing, the importance of safety and FUN!
Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. $25 per person.
Golf Clinics
Whether you are a never-ever or an experienced player, you'll increase your golf skills and have fun at the same time! Choose from one of our many golf clinics, and take your game to the next level under the guidance of our PGA Director of Instruction.
Beginner Clinic - Tuesday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm and Thursday 10:00 am - 11:00 am. For those who have played some but would like to improve on fundamental skills and ball striking. An excellent follow up to the Never-Ever Clinic.
Golf Widows Clinic - Tuesday 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.Tired of being left at home while your husband has all the fun? Join us for a women’s only golf clinic. This clinic is suited for golfers of all abilities, even those who have never held a club. Whether your looking to fine-tune your swing or get some extra distance out of the ball, join Ruthie B. for this 1-hour on range clinic.
Wedge Clinic - Thursday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. An easy way to lower your score quickly. Learn to use the Pitching Wedge, Sand Wedge and 60 Degree Wedge in a variety of ways. Also learn to master the bunker shot.
Woods Clinic - Thursday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Open to all abilities and focusing on your distance clubs. Learn the importance of ball position, set up and understanding the impact of club length. Increase your distance and fly the ball straighter.
All Golf Clinics: One hour group clinic, $25 per person.
Private Golf Instruction
Enjoy the benefit of private instruction where the focus is on YOU! From those who have completed their beginner clinic to low handicappers, private instruction will improve your swing and your game.
Half hour private, $45 per person. One hour private, $70 per person.
Golf courses near Smugglers' Notch
Play a Round Nearby! Receive special golf rates at these selected championship 18 hole golf courses when vouchers are purchased before departing Smugglers'. Please arrange your tee times directly with the course prior to purchasing a voucher. Soft spikes required at all courses.
Stowe Country Club - Just a 20-minute drive through Smugglers' Notch Pass. $95 per person plus tax, including cart. Available June 12 - September 7, 2009, 7 days a week. 24-hour advance tee time required.
Vermont National Country Club - New England's first Jack Nicklaus designed course is just an hour away in South Burlington. Up to 72 hour advance tee times available, limited availability on this semi-private course. $125 per person plus tax, including cart.
