Smugglers' Notch Resort RCI Spring Programs

Spring 2009

April 5, 2009 to June 6, 2009 is a quiet vacation period at Smugglers'. You will find that our location is very well suited as a "home base" to tour Northern Vermont and Southern Quebec areas. We highly recommend that you have a car to best enjoy your week.

The Guest Service Desk and Check-In Area is open from 7am -11pm Daily. If you plan to arrive after 11pm please call 802-644-8851 and make arrangements for after hours check-in.

Our ski lift operation will end on approximately April 12, 2009, after the ski day. Please call to confirm this date:

Ski and Snowboard Equipment rental is also available at the Sterling Base Lodge from April 6th - April 12th.

Facilities and Programming Notes
The final day for Winter programs such as group ski & snowboard lessons and children camps is April 5th, 2009. Private lessons are available from April 6th - April 12th, 2009. Sign up at the Guest Service Desk.

Child Care
Please call 802-644-1193 24 hours in advance to make your arrangements for babysitters, Mon. - Fri. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

TREASURES
From April 6th through April 24th, 2009, a Spring Children's Camp Program for ages 6-12 years and ages 6 weeks to 5 years will be offered through our TREASURES Child Care Center, Monday - Friday. Your children will particpate in many activities which could include swimming at our indoor pool, arts and crafts, hiking, sledding (weather permitting) and many other fun activities. The program runs from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and is specially priced for RCI Guests at $50 per child, per day, ages 6 to 12; $75 per child per day, ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Family Activities
The FunZone Family Entertainment Center will be open 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm daily through May 16th. This indoor facility includes the crawl-through Morphy, a 22-foot Giant Double Lane Slide, 45-foot giant obstacle course, the Smuggs Bouncy House, Runt Run, a 2-person fidget ladder, arcade games and mini-golf. Fun for every age!

Dining in The Resort
Our Morse Moutain Grille is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A wide selection of menu items feature many Vermont products and specialties. Enjoy a complete country breakfast, burgers, steaks, seafood, homemade soups, pasta dishes, and more.

In addition, there are a variety of other fine local restaurants within a 30 minute drive.

Pools & Hot Tubs
Enjoy our indoor heated pool and hot tubs through May 16th. Changing rooms, lockers and showers are available. Please bring your own towels. Opening of our outdoor heated pool to be announced soon.

3 Mountain Outfitters
Our sport shop offers an extensive selection of merchandise from brand name manufactures. We carry Isis, Patagonia, Merrill, Helley Hanson, Maui Jim, Smith, Camelbak, Columbia and more. Open daily 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Country Store
Conveniently located in The Village Center near the Guest Service Desk; the Country Store carries a variety of convenience items that you may need for your vacation. These include a selection of grocery items, Cabot cheeses, Vermont Maple Syrup, candy, gifts, beer, wine, soft drinks and more. Open 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Mon. - Fri.; Sat. and Sun. 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Artists in the Mountains
Take some time to dabble in the arts. Add a bit of creativity to your vacation. Sessions are offered by local artists with materials included. This is a fee-based activity.

Day Trips
Montreal Day Trip - Join us for an expedition to exciting Montreal! We provide transportation, orientation, guide books and suggestions of places to visit while you're there. This is a fee-based activity.

A Taste of Vermont Day Trip - Taste Vermont's most popular spots including Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Cabot Annex and the Trapp Family Lodge. This is a fee-based activity.
