Notch Squad and fun activities for children and teens!
As we get older, we want to take on more challenges - whether we're just starting out or have been skiing or riding for a while. Our trained Instructors recognize this and have developed a variety of techniques to improve and build on your unique, exciting skill set. You will feel confident and will be better prepared for a range of new experiences on the hill. Imagine what you could accomplish after a week in our full-day or 1 1/2-hour program. Lunch included.

Notch Squad Ski or Snowboard Hour and a Half Lessons
These 1 1/2-hour lessons are a great way to get a sampling of our popular full day camp.
10:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. $45 per person, per lesson. Buy 5 or more consecutive group lessons for the same person, get the next lesson FREE! One lesson daily included with Club Smugglers' Advantage Package. Notch Squad Ski or Snowboard Camp
Daily, 9:00 am to 2:15 pm (level 1-4), 9:45 am to 2:15 pm (level 5-9) on-mountain activities with entertainment and lesson until 4:00 pm. Thursday pick-up is at 2:15 pm so our staff can prepare for Showtime Theater.

The new MAX 5 lesson is ideal for the skier or rider looking for a longer lesson but not interested in the all day camp program. Session sizes are limited to 5 people. Advanced registration is required as space is limited. You can have lunch as a family and sign up for the additional 1 1/2-hour at 1:00 pm with the same instructor. To get the most out of this program it is recommended that you sign up for multiple consecutive days.
$75 per child per 2 1/2-hour session. Pre-registration is required as space is limited for this program. Discounts not available on MAX5 sessions.
Offered Daily 9:45 am - 12:15 pm. (Levels 1-9). Minimum enrollment of 2 students to participate or the lesson automatically becomes a 2 hour semi-private lesson beginning at the original start time. Afternoon Entertainment
Afternoon Entertainment is located in the lower level of the Meeting House.
Sunday - Movie Matinee A kid-friendly flick will fill the big screen.
Monday - A World of Pirates Hosted by the Friendly Pirate and Silver Long Johns (aka Garry the FunMeister) with pirate songs, stories, games and history.
Tuesday - Science Show The Winter Wizard and Professor Pinhead will prove that science CAN be fun!
Wednesday - Marko the Magician He will make you believe in prestidigitation - in other words - Magic.
Thursday - Great Race For SSU Adventure Level 5-9 groups skiing or boarding on the Upper Mountain. The Great Race takes place on the Lower Madonna Liftline. 10:30 am - 12:00 Noon Adventure Race For SSU Adventure Level 1-4 groups skiing or boarding on Morse Mountain. Race takes place on Sir Henry's Hill. Hosted by Garry the FunMeister and the Friendly Pirate. 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Friday Open - For Jibs and Jumps groups practicing their freestyle on the upper mountain. The Open takes place in the Birch Run terrain park located on Sterling mountain. 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Beverage options include: water, lemonade, milk, chocolate milk and/or hot chocolate. Holiday Camp Ages 11-15: Future Stars Ski Racing Camp Alpine Ski and Snowboard Private Lessons
1-hour, private lessons for alpine ski or snowboard. Even Olympic athletes benefit from private coaching. Maximize the time and attention to YOUR needs and goals. Available in 1-hour or multi-hour sessions. Pre-registration is strongly advised, especially for peak times, as space is limited.
Offered daily. Non-peak times: 8:30 am, 2:00 pm, & 3:00 pm. Peak times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 noon, & 1:00 pm.
Non-peak rate: $70 for first person, $40 per additional person. Peak rate: $85 for first person, $50 per additional person. 6-Hour Private Instruction or Guided Tour
This program is ideal for the individual or group that wants personal, private instruction and guiding for the whole day. With your personal coach, you can spend the entire day exploring and enhancing your skills, or your group can split up the day between family members of different ages and abilities.
Offered daily 9:00 am or 10:00 am start time. Meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift. $299 per person,or make your own group up to 5 people for $399. Pre-registration is required as space is limited for this program. Terrain Park Private Session (Ages 6-Adult)
This program is designed to help skiers and snowboarders of intermediate and/or expert levels get the most fun out of the Upper Mountain Terrain Parks' features.
Offered Daily 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. $85 first person, each additional person $50 (offered only when Terrain Parks are open). Private Instruction with Snow Sport University Director, Peter Ingvoldstad
Peter Ingvoldstad is internationally recognized as a dynamic developer of innovative teaching techniques for children and adults.
$150 per hour. Space available basis. Night School for Boarding
This 2 1/2-hour program is a great opportunity for the entire family to learn a new sport! (ages 6 & older) Includes 1 1/2-hour lesson, equipment and Sir Henry's Lift.
Tuesday & Wednesday, 4:30 pm $45 per person, per session, including equipment rental. Must sign up prior to 3:30 pm. Space available basis. Get outfitted for your equipment between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm at 3 Mountain Equipment. Scouts Honored - Merit Badge Certification
Smugglers' has been authorized by the Scouts of America to certify requirements for merit badges in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding as part of our Snow Sport University programs! What a fun way for scouts to spend their family vacation time. Be sure to bring your signed Blue card from your troop leader. Included as part of your SSU program. Please notify your instructor when you start your lessons. Must be a Level 5 or higher. Minimum of three days participation. Study Hall Smuggs' Style
For youngsters 7-17 who need to keep up with classwork while on vacation, this session, in the Sycamores Snow Sport University room located downstairs in the Sycamores 19-34 building, is supervised by teachers who assist the children with homework in a friendly environment.
Wednesday, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Special Extras
Children's FunFeast Hosted by Billy Bob Bear, Mogul Mouse and Goodtime Charlie in the Lower Meeting House, with a kids’ pizza party and make your own ice cream sundaes as well as entertainment and supervised fun. Parents are welcome to join us at entertainment time.
Hosted Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, $29 per child. Included in FamilyFest programs. |
