Rip up our mountains with people your own age and ability level every day at 1:00 pm. Explore the terrain on our three mountains, or spend time in any of our Terrain Parks and work on some new moves. Make new friends to enjoy our other Teen activities after the lifts close. We offer cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, swimming and basketball, as well as Teen Alley or Outer Limits Teen Centers, and the FunZone. Try the Night School for Boarding under the lights. Also check the Daily Schedules for other organized Teen activities. You may even want to consider the benefit of a private lesson.
Beginning snowboarders of all ages will be set up with Burton Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' Snow Sport University professionals.
Mountain Explorer Ski or Snowboard 2 Hour Lessons
Join our 2-hour group lesson at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm daily. $75 per person, per lesson! One lesson included daily for those children paid to be on the Club Smugglers' Classic Package and the Club Smugglers' Summit Package.
Winter Adventure Program for ages 16-20
This Winter we are expanding our snow sport options to include activities that takes place on and off the hill. Designed for ages 16-20, Monday-Thursday, the morning will start at 10:00 am with an intermediate to advanced Snow Sense Session where the group will ski and ride together focusing on exploring the mountain, reading terrain, and having fun instead of focusing on technique. After lunch, the group will head back out with their instructors for unique specialty sessions such as ice climbing, Tree Top Obstacle Course, Ice Canyon Via Ferrata, and Winter survival skills. Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Skiers & riders, levels 5-9. $139 per young adult, per day, includes lunch. 25% OFF with Club Smugglers' Classic & Summit Packages.
Alpine Ski and Snowboard Private Lessons
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU!! Sometimes private coaching will give you that little boost you need to move to the next level in your skiing or riding and start exploring more of the mountain. It's just you and your personal coach, setting your needs and goals, and coaching you to a higher level. You can even request your choice of instructors. Available in one hour or multi-hour sessions for skiing, snowboarding, or telemark. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, particularly during holiday periods and at peak times, when space and instructors may be limited.
Non-holiday, non-peak rate: $85 first person, $50 per additional person, per hour.

6-Hour Private Instruction or Guided Tour
This program is ideal for the individual or group that wants personal, private instruction and guiding for the whole day. With your personal coach, you can spend the entire day exploring and enhancing your skills, or your group can split up the day between family members of different ages and abilities.
Offered daily 9:00 am or 10:00 am start time.
Meet at the Private Lesson meeting place at the Gazebo by the Village Lift.
Non-holiday: $499 for up to 5 people.
Holiday*: $519 for up to 5 people.

Terrain Park Private Session (Ages 6-Adult)
This program is designed to help skiers and snowboarders of intermediate or expert levels get the most fun out of the Upper Mountain Terrain Parks' features.
Offered Daily 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
$95 first person, each additional person $60 (offered only when Terrain Parks are open)
Night School for Boarding & Night School for Jibbing
Are you ready for your first snowboard experience? Are you already a skier or rider and want to try your first freestyle moves? Then try one of our Night School programs. Night School for Boarding is a great way for families and everyone else to go snowboarding for the first time. Night School for Jibbing is our program designed to utilize mini, entry-level terrain park features to introduce level 4-6 skiers & riders to the world of freestyle. With one-hour group sessions and another 1 1/2 hours of practice time (with coaches on the hill to help you out), new riders and new jibbers can experience the excitement of snowboarding.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Sir Henry's Learning Hill. Ages 6 - adult. $49 per person, per session, includes Burton Learn to Ride equipment rental. Must sign up prior to 3:30 pm at the Guest Service Desk or the Ski & Ride Desk. Space available basis. Get outfitted for your equipment between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm at 3 Mountain Equipment. Meet at Sir Henry's Learning & Fun Park after you've been fitted for your equipment.
Scouts Honored – Boy Scouts of America Snow Sports Merit Badge Certification
Smugglers’ Notch Resort has been authorized by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to certify requirements for merit badges in snowboarding, alpine skiing and cross country skiing as part of our Snow Sport University programming. We require that all students be at least a level 4 skier or snowboarder in order to participate. Scouts will have the opportunity to attain their merit badge certification by working one-on-one with their own instructor during a 2-hour private lesson.
