Mountain Explorers and fun activities for teens!
Available December 11, 2009- April 4, 2010Rip up our mountains with people your own age and ability level every day at 1:00 pm. Explore the terrain on our three mountains, or spend time in any of our Terrain Parks and work on some new moves. Make new friends to enjoy our other Teen activities after the lifts close. We offer snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, swimming and basketball, as well as Teen Alley or Outer Limits Teen Centers, and the FunZone. Try the Night School for Boarding under the lights. Also check the Daily Schedules for other organized Teen activities.
NEW this year, beginning snowboarders of all ages will be set up with Burton Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' Snow Sport University professionals.
Mountain Explorer Ski or Snowboard 1 1/2-Hour Lessons
Join our 1 1/2-hour lesson at 1:00 pm daily. $45 per person, per lesson. Buy 5 or more consecutive group lessons for the same person, get the next lesson FREE! One lesson daily included with Club Smugglers' Advantage Package.
The MAX5 Lesson is ideal for the skier or rider looking for a longer lesson. Session sizes are limited to 5 people. Advanced registration is required as space is limited. To get the most out of this program it is recommended that you sign up for multiple consecutive dates.
$75 per person per 2 1/2 hour session. Pre-registration is requires as space is limited for this program. Buy 4 or more consecutive days and get the next day free.
Offered Daily 10:00 am - 12:30 pm (Levels 1-9).
Alpine Ski and Snowboard Private Lessons
1-hour, private lessons for alpine ski or snowboard. Even Olympic athletes benefit from private coaching. Maximize the time and attention to YOUR needs and goals. Available in 1-hour or multi-hour sessions. Pre-registration is strongly advised, especially for peak times, as space is limited.
Offered daily. Non-peak times: 8:30 am, & 3:00 pm.
Peak times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm, & 2:00 pm.
Non-peak rate: $75 for first person, $50 per additional person.
Peak rate: $95 for first person, $60 per additional person.
6-Hour Private Instruction or Guided Tour
This program is ideal for the individual or group that wants personal, private instruction and guiding for the whole day. With your personal coach, you can spend the entire day exploring and enhancing your skills, or your group can split up the day between family members of different ages and abilities.
Offered daily 9:00 am or 10:00 am start time.
Meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift.
$349 per person,or make your own group up to 5 people for $449. Pre-registration is required as space is limited for this program.
Terrain Park Private Session (Ages 6-Adult)
This program is designed to help skiers and snowboarders of intermediate and/or expert levels get the most fun out of the Upper Mountain Terrain Parks' features.
Offered Daily 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
$95 first person, each additional person $60 (offered only when Terrain Parks are open)
This 2 1/2-hour program is a great opportunity for the entire family to learn a new sport! (ages 6 & older) Includes 1 1/2-hour lesson, equipment and Sir Henry's Lift.
Tuesday & Wednesday, 4:30 pm
$49 per person, per session, including equipment rental. Must sign up prior to 3:30 pm. Space available basis. Get outfitted for your equipment between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm at 3 Mountain Equipment.
Scouts Honored - Merit Badge Certification
Smugglers' has been authorized by the Scouts of America to certify requirements for merit badges in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding as part of our Snow Sport University programs! What a fun way for scouts to spend their family vacation time. Be sure to bring your signed Blue card from your troop leader. Included as part of your SSU program. Please notify your instructor when you start your lessons. Must be a Level 5 or higher. Minimum of three days participation.
