Rip up our mountains with people your own age and ability level every day at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm. Explore the variety of terrain on our three mountains, or spend time in any of our Terrain Parks working on some new tricks. You can also meet new people to attend activites with after the lifts close. We offer cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, swimming and basketball, as well as our Teen Alley or Outer Limits Teen Centers, and the FunZone. Give Night School for Boarding under the lights a try or check the Daily Schedules for other organized Teen activities. You may even want to consider the benefits of a private lesson.
Beginning snowboarders of all ages will be set up with Burton Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' SSU professionals.

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU!! Sometimes private coaching will give you that little boost you need to move to the next level in your skiing or riding and start exploring more of the mountain. It's just you and your personal coach, setting your needs and goals, and coaching you to a higher level. You can even request your choice of instructors.
Available: Daily, start time upon request. One-hour to multi-hour sessions. Rates: Non-holiday*: $105 first person, $75 per additional person, $75 per additional hour. Holiday*: $125 first person, $75 per additional person, $75 per additional hour. Levels: Level 1-4/Beginners, Morse Mountain, meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift. 6-Hour Private Instruction or Guided Tour
This program is ideal for the individual or group that wants personal, private instruction and guiding for the whole day. With your personal coach, you can spend the entire day exploring and enhancing your skills, or your group can split up the day between family members of different ages and abilities.
Available: Daily 9:00 am or 10:00 am. Rates: Non-Holiday $780 for group of up to 5 people. Holiday* $800 for group of 5 people. Levels: Level 1-4/Beginners, Morse Mountain, meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift. Level 5-9/Advanced, meet on the Green Peppers Deck at the Madonna/Sterling Base Lodge.

Terrain Park Private Session (Ages 6-Adult)
This program is designed to help skiers and snowboarders of intermediate or expert levels get the most fun out of the Upper Mountain Terrain Parks' features. Available: Daily 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Rates: $95 first person, each additional person $60 (offered only when Terrain Parks are open) Levels: Level 1-4/Beginners, Morse Mountain, meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift. Are you ready for your first snowboard experience? Are you already a skier or rider and want to try your first freestyle moves? Then try one of our Night School programs. Night School for Boarding is a great way for families and everyone else to go snowboarding for the first time. Night School for Jibbing is our program designed to utilize mini, entry-level terrain park features to introduce level 4-6 skiers & riders to the world of freestyle. With one-hour group sessions and another 1 1/2 hours of practice time (with coaches on the hill to help you out), new riders and new jibbers can experience the excitement of snowboarding.
Available: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Sir Henry's Learning Hill. Ages 6 - adult. Rates: $49 per person, per session, includes Burton Learn to Ride equipment rental. Must sign up prior to 3:30 pm at the Guest Service Desk or the Ski & Ride Desk. Space available basis. Get outfitted for your equipment between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm at 3 Mountain Equipment. Meet at Sir Henry's Learning & Fun Park after you've been fitted for your equipment.Scouts Honored – Boy Scouts of America Snow Sports Merit Badge Certification
Smugglers’ Notch Resort has been authorized by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to certify requirements for merit badges in snowboarding, alpine skiing and cross country skiing as part of our Snow Sport University programming. We require that all students be at least a level 4 skier or snowboarder in order to participate. Scouts will have the opportunity to attain their merit badge certification by working one-on-one with their own instructor during a 2-hour private lesson. This special Boy Scout program is discounted 15% off our regular private lesson price. Please contact the Ski & Ride Desk at ext 1021 to book your lesson in advance.
