We start kids at age 3 on skis in our all-day award-winning children's program and age 4 on snowboards! Children are grouped by ages 3 & 4, and 5 year olds. It's never too young to learn!

Our all-day Discovery Dynamos program, including lunch, encourages skiing or snowboarding development for all abilities and builds confidence through innovative teaching techniques. Plus fun games, guided science discovery and activities on and off the slopes. Even tots as young as 2 years can take private lessons.
NEW for Winter 2009-2010
Flaik GPS units are included in all-day ski and snowboard camp programs for tracking vertical, mileage and speed! Also, beginning snowboarders, ages 4-5, will be set up with Burton Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' Snow Sport University professionals.

The Discovery Dynamos is available daily, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, including lunch. On-mountain lesson and activities last until 2:30 pm each day followed by indoor entertainment until 4:00 pm. Thursday pick-up is at 2:30 pm so our staff can prepare for Showtime Theater.

Children must be completely toilet trained and out of diapers and pull-ups to participate in this program. Children who are not toilet trained can sign up for our Little Rascals on Snow Program for 2 1/2 to 3 year olds.

The Discovery Dynamos program is included for those children paid to be on the Club Smugglers' Advantage Package. Regular rate $139 per day, per child. Buy 5 or more consecutive camp days for the same person, get the next day FREE!

Afternoon Entertainment
SSU's Afternoon Entertainment is located in the lower level of the Meeting House.

Sunday - Movie Matinee
A kid-friendly flick will fill the big screen.

Monday - A World of Pirates
Hosted by the Friendly Pirate and Silver Long Johns (aka Garry the FunMeister) with pirate songs, stories, games and history.

Tuesday - Marko the Magician
He will make you believe in prestidigitation - in other words - Magic.

Wednesday - Science Show
The Winter Wizard and Professor Pinhead will prove that science CAN be fun!


Thursday - Cookie Race Watch future Olympians negotiate their first gates. Levels 1-4 meet on Sir Henry's Hill... don't miss the fun! Garry the FunMeister, The Friendly Pirate & Mogul Mouse are your hosts. Race times 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Check with Instructors for the specific time they will be at the race. Note: All children must be picked up by 2:15 pm after the Cookie Race on Thursdays. Don't miss Showtime, Thursday's must-see family event - featuring all of your favorite Smuggs' characters! In the Meeting House from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday - Movie Matinee* A kid-friendly flick will fill the big screen.	Watch the Cookie Race on video.

Saturday - Science Show

Tuesday: Chicken patty, potato puffs, pasta & sauce
Wednesday: Sausage pancake wrap, french toast sticks, potato puffs, oatmeal
Thursday: Cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, pasta & sauce
Friday: Hamburger, french fries, macaroni & cheese
Saturday: Grilled cheese, potato puffs, pasta & sauce

Other daily offerings include: Veggie sticks, tossed salad with assorted dressings, tuna salad, peanut butter & jelly, hot soup, fruit, cookies, pudding, jello, apple sauce, cookies. Beverage options include: water, lemonade, milk, chocolate milk and/or hot chocolate.

Kids' Night Out

If your ideal Winter vacation includes a romantic dinner or an evening out socializing at one of our adult events, we offer Kids' Night Out. Kids enjoy dinner and fun activities with our caring staff at TREASURES.

Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday, 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, December 11, 2009 - April 4, 2010. $30 per night, per child (ages 4 - 11). Advance reservations required. Call 1-800-419-4615.

Children's FunFeast

Hosted by Billy Bob Bear & Mogul Mouse with all the pizza you can eat, make-your-own ice cream sundaes, a big screen movie, PLUS a special magic performance by Marko the Magician! Parents are welcome to join us for entertainment at 8:15 pm. Supervised by SSU staff.

Tuesday evenings 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Lower Meeting House, $39 per child. Included in FamilyFest programs.

Mom & Me, Dad & Me Ski & Snowboard Semi-Private Lessons

1-hour, semi-private lesson. A unique opportunity to learn some of the skills and games that will help you be a teacher introducing your child to alpine skiing or snowboarding. You should be at least an intermediate skier or rider, and your child should be a First Timer, age 3-5 years old.

Daily 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$75 per lesson, includes two persons

Alpine Ski and Snowboard Private Lessons

1-hour, private lessons for alpine ski or snowboard. Even Olympic athletes benefit from private coaching. Maximize the time and attention to YOUR needs and goals. Available in 1-hour or multi-hour sessions. Pre-registration is strongly advised, especially for peak times, as space is limited.

Offered daily. Non-peak times: 8:30 am, & 3:00 pm.
Peak times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm & 2:00 pm.

Non-peak rate: $75 for first person, $50 per additional person.
Peak rate: $95 for first person, $60 per additional person.

6-Hour Private Instruction or Guided Tour

This program is ideal for the individual or group that wants personal, private instruction and guiding for the whole day. With your personal coach, you can spend the entire day exploring and enhancing your skills, or your group can split up the day between family members of different ages and abilities.

Offered daily 9:00 am or 10:00 am start time.
Meet at the Gazebo by the Village Lift.
$349 per person, or make your own group up to 5 people for $449. Pre-registration is required as space is limited for this program.
