TREASURES Child Care Center provides nurturing vacation child care for children 6 weeks to 3 years old in a loving and safe environment. Settling your little one at TREASURES will give you the peace of mind and flexibility to enjoy special vacation activities, such as a fun ski day or invigorating snowshoe outing with your spouse or an activity with one of your other children. The center’s slopeside location in the Resort Village is perfect for parents who want to enjoy their own mountain adventures but want the convenience of being able to check on their little ones if desired.The staff of this state-licensed facility are specialists in non-recurring child care, and with kindness and patience help children successfully transition in unfamiliar surroundings. They are also trained in CPR and first aid. For the peace of mind and comfort of visiting families, TREASURES strives for consistent caregiver scheduling during a child’s stay in the center.
Parents are encouraged to communicate their child’s likes and dislikes and special needs to the center’s staff, and a daily report documents each child’s activities throughout the day. From college students working on their education or early childhood degrees to grandmas wanting to play and cuddle, TREASURES’ caregivers want your child to have a safe and fun vacation child care experience.

TREASURES at a glance
The special features of TREASURES were designed and developed in consultation with the Resort's child care providers based upon their observations of what is important to visiting parents and children.

TREASURES also features a full kitchen for preparing hot lunches; a changing room; and a screened porch with baby swings. Cubbies offer space for storage of children's things during their stay. There are giant fish tanks in every room. For safety and comfort when accessing the building, there are heated snowmelt outdoor walkways.
Your child's day at TREASURES
TREASURES features three open and bright classrooms with developmentally appropriate toys and activities. Children are grouped in programs by age (please click on the age group to read more).
Fireflies: Ages 6 weeks to 16 months.
These little ones have fun indoors where they'll enjoy plenty of space to crawl and play on special floor mats and climbing structures, and object and spatial play. Children in this age group dictate their own schedules. The nap room adjoins the play area. For ages up to 15 months, there is a 3:1 child to caregiver ratio. For ages 16 months and older, there is a 4:1 child to caregiver ratio at TREASURES.

Little Dippers: Ages 17 months to 2 1/2 years.
This age group spends time together in the open space playroom, listening to music, singing, creating arts and crafts, chasing bubbles, playing in the ball pit, storytelling with circle games, snow play in the enclosed playground or just having quiet time. There is a 4:1 child to caregiver ration for this group.

Little Rascals and Little Rascals on Snow: Ages 2 1/2 to 3 years.
Healthy snacks are served in the morning and afternoon. A hot lunch is served daily and a weekly menu is posted for informational purposes. TREASURES is a peanut-free facility and most other allergies are accommodated.

Hours, pricing, and registration information
TREASURES is open 8:30 am - 4:00 pm daily.
The cost for a full day at TREASURES is $85. Lunch and snacks are included. Hourly care is provided between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm only. The cost is $15.00 per hour for up to four hours.
TREASURES is included when families purchase our Club Smugglers' Classic or Summit Package, all season long, December 6, 2013 - April 6, 2014 . For your convenience, please print a downloadable registration form prior to arrival. Advance reservations are recommended. Child care arrangements may be booked at the time you make your vacation reservations at smuggs.com or with our reservationists at . You may also direct any questions to a TREASURES staff member at 802-644-1180.
For their stay at TREASURES each child will need a change of clothes and any personal items needed such as diapers and wipes. Weather-appropriate outdoor gear should also be sent with the child daily for outings. Sippy cups and clean linens for nap time are provided by TREASURES.
Other child care services
Babysitting: TREASURES will help to arrange a private caregiver for evening hours in your vacation home. An $10 finder's fee per babysitter is paid at TREASURES. A $12 per hour for the first child and $1 per hour for each additional child can be paid directly to the babysitter. Reservations are required to be made in advance. Please call 802-644-1193 to make your arrangements for babysitters. Valentine's and New Year's Eve Babysitting Services, $15 per hour for the first child and $1 per hour for each additional child. Kids' Night Out: If you would like to enjoy a special night out or participate in one of the Resort's evening events for adults, your child can enjoy their own special evening at Kids' Night Out. Kids take part in fun activities and have dinner with the caring staff at TREASURES. Wednesday & Saturday, 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, December 6, 2013 - April 6, 2014 $30 per night, per child, ages 3-11. 24-hour advance reservations required. Please have children dressed to walk outside. Children must be toilet trained. Call to make your arrangements.
