No Bull Snow Report – Jan. 31st, 2011 Punxsutawney who? The little critter from PA who thinks he has a knack for long range forecasts didn’t see his shadow this past week; but then, he’s only accurately predicted an early Spring 13% of the time. Up here in the Northeast, Winter is here and it is here to stay. Get your goggles on!
No Bull Snow Report – Jan. 24th, 2011 Smuggs has received nearly 200" of snow, which puts us on pace to exceed our average annual snowfall of more than 26'! And while conditions are still great for skiing, riding and boardercross (you'll just have to watch the video), Smugglers' also boasts a seemingly endless list of other activities that make the most of our powder bounty. So in this week's video, Smuggs TV checks out the new Arbortrek Canopy Tour - it's the most fun you'll have off-piste, guaranteed. Not to be outdone by Arbortrek's nearly one mile long lengths of cables, we also took a 1.5 mile dog sled ride with Muddy Dog Sled Tours, who operate almost daily out of Bootlegger's Basin.
No Bull Snow Report – Gravity Control Rail Jam - Jan. 15th, 2011 The kids are all right! This Saturday, Smuggs TV covered the Gravity Control Rail Jam, which was held under the shadow of the Madonna II liftline. Hucksters of all ages and disciplines descended on The Department of Gravity Control’s inspired creation and clashed with flying flakes, hard steel and tree trunk. Special thanks to our friends at No School Snowboard Shop, Triple Diamond Sports, and Mocean Maté.
No Bull Snow Report – Week of Jan. 10th, 2011 This week, we unleashed Hugh Johnson on the mountain equipped with the resort’s new HD helmet cam. Meanwhile, Mother Nature unleashed a little bit on her own, blanketing the resort in over two feet of snow in as many days. So sit back, relax, and “stick to [Hugh’s] side”!
No Bull Snow Report - Week of Dec. 27th, 2010 This week, Smuggs TV joins Terrain Park Manager Rick Witham as he sculpts The Zone -- our premier terrain park. Following days of snowmaking and shaping his vision, Witham opens the park up to a group of hand selected skiers and riders who session The Zone!
No Bull Snow Report - Week of Dec. 13th, 2010 Smuggs opened Sir Henry's Hill on Morse this past week, but the big story this December has been snowfall… lots of snowfall! Smuggs snowmaker Josh Gerasimos took Hugh Johnson and Smuggs TV up to the summit. Our mission: to check out the conditions in Doc Dempsey's Glades. With over well over a foot of powder on top of a most generous December base layer, the going was easy. Enjoy!

No Bull Snow Report - Week of Dec. 6th, 2010 December has been quite the topsy-turvy month of weather: 100 mph winds atop Madonna, 19 inches of snow in 48 hours earlier this week and frigid temperatures on Thursday and Friday. Join Hugh Johnson, Smuggs Snow Reporter as he takes a closer look at the resort's mountain operations this past week.
