Mountainside lodging means you will have the closest lodging option at the base of our 3 big mountains (Morse, Madonna, and Sterling). Our Smuggs-managed properties are all within an easy walk or on-demand resort shuttle ride to all Village amenities. All of the Smuggs-managed homes are privately owned by people who have chosen this location to call home and who want to provide every guest with a “We Want You Back!” invitation. Guest feedback is embraced to keep these homes working energy efficient, high level of readiness for cleanliness or repair needs, along with easy home away from home warmth and charm.

Smuggs Resort-managed mountainside lodging is the only guest option for lodging in this region that offers such an expansive inventory selection. Our large inventory availability provides flexibility for the number of persons being lodged, and features of comfort, and convenience appealing to guests' needs (location, in-home amenities, layout, etc.). A service guarantee starts with the homes that are managed with hundreds of dedicated professionally trained staff on all home oversight that includes an onsite Village Operations Center, Guest Service Desk Concierge, Maintenance troubleshooting, Housekeeping turnovers & linens, HVAC operating systems, lighting inspections, fire safety requirements, snow removal, trash & recycling, and all general attention to details inside and outside homes that could lead to undue trouble if reserving outside of a Smuggs-managed property dwelling.

The owners of the Smuggs-managed properties pride themselves on keeping these homes updated with the ambiance to exceed your expectations. Each home offers fully equipped kitchens (cookware, dishware, glassware, and utensils),
cable TV, WiFi access,, and in-home or in-building access to laundry facilities. Owners whose homes have been listed as preferred receive this status for properties that our internal team of home appraisers have rated and found to be of certain qualities that will appeal higher to guest satisfaction. These qualities may be as subtle as unique scenic vista views, modern home décor, location to various amenities, with owners that pride themselves in the attention to detail and consistent improvements when needed to keep their home status as preferred.

Non-smoking Policy — All Smuggs-managed homes are non-smoking. In addition, smoking is not permitted within 25 feet of the exterior of the building including the decks. A $250 fee assessment is charged to any offenders of this stated policy.

Our large inventory allows us the opportunity to either respond to any home issue (within a reasonable time frame) or to relocate your reservation to another home of equal or greater status. Highlands Hill Community - Winding up Morse Mountain are a series of condominium clusters with woodland or mountain views. North Hill Community - This is our newest community, and its location provides the serenity of a woodland hillside and features spectacular views of Madonna and Sterling Mountains and historic Smugglers' Notch Pass. The North Hill has its own Indoor Aquatic & Exercise Center including a lap pool, two hot tubs, and children's splash playground. Guests staying in the Owls have exclusive use of the Parliament Lodge. The North Hill's in-resort shuttle is a great way to get to The Village Center as well as to get to the upper mountains in the morning for skiing and riding! West Hill Community - Located mid-way up Morse Mountain, this area features sunset views of the Smugglers' Notch Valley and exclusive use of a year-round outdoor heated pool, exercise room and game room. Resort Fee

A one-time Resort fee will be applied per stay to specific reservations which covers generally available services and amenities of the Resort, such as wireless internet access in-room and throughout the Resort, the guest text notification system, and other services and amenities to enhance your stay. These services may vary by season.

Smugglers' Notch uses RFID Technology at all of our mountain lifts, our Resort pools, and facilities. A personalized Notch Card, our RFID card, is required for all guests to access our programs and facilities and to participate in Summer Fun University (SFU) and Snow Sport University (SSU) programs. For the guests paying the Resort Fee and/or Service Charge, the cost of the Notch Card up to the maximum occupancy of the home you are staying in is covered in this fee. Additional Notch Cards needed for your family can be purchased for $5 plus tax for each card.
