Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We now have 73 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 50 inches. Birch Run Terrain Park, Log Jam Terrain Park, and Riglet are all open. Currently it is 22 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 1 to 5 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of flurries before noon and a high of 30 degrees. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We now have 73 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 50 inches. Last night we made snow on Lower Morse Liftline and Meadowlark. We now have 3 terrain parks open, Birch Run, Log Jam, and Riglet. We plan to groom 32 trails tonight, including McPherson’s, Snow Snake, and Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 131 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently it is partly cloudy and 22 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers and a high of 30 degrees.

Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 50 inches. 31 trails have been groomed for today, including Shuttle, Curley’s Cutback, and Jolly Rodger for a grand total of 94 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Last night we made snow on Snow Snake, Log Jam, Hibernator, and the base area of the Village Lift. Currently it is sunny and 6 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 25 degrees.

The Village Lift, Madonna I Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Madonna II Lift are presently on wind hold. We have 3 lifts operating today, Sterling Lift, Morse Highlands Lift, and Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet. We have 50 skiable trails and 21 lift accessible trails open today. 17 out of the 21 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are machine groomed and spring conditions with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 39 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 35 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of rain in the afternoon and a high of 48 degrees. Today there is a FIS Eastern Cup Slalom race on Snake Bite and the Practice Slope. Mitey Mites and Mini Mites have been canceled for today.

It started snowing early this afternoon and the later in the afternoon the harder it snowed! We received 2 inches of new snow so far. This new snow is just what the doctor ordered. The new snow will insulate the older snow as the temperature falls tonight. This is going to make tomorrow another beautiful day on the slopes. Currently, it is snowing hard and 29 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tonight’s forecast is calling for snow with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for snow showers another 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 17 degrees. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. 23 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley and Thomke’s for a grand total of 94 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tonight we plan to resume snowmaking on Black Snake and the Practice Slope.

Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. 23 trails have been groomed for today, including Thomke’s and Waterfall for a grand total of 93 acres. The best snow on the mountain today will be any groomed trail. We plan to resume snowmaking tonight on Black Snake and the Practice Slope. Currently it is cloudy and 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for snow mainly in the afternoon 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 31 degrees. We could see a storm total of 13 inches of new snow by Sunday night!

We are presently making snow on Upper Chilcoot. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. Currently it is cloudy and 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for a slight chance of flurries early then skies becoming partly sunny with a high of 31 degrees.
