Due to the unusual weather we are experiencing, we are going to pause lift operations for the day on Tuesday, reopening for skiing on Wednesday the 20th. Current forecasts show the temperature dropping below freezing during the day Tuesday accompanied by some snow. With the snowpack pretty wet and lots of water flowing off the mountain, we need to wait a few hours after temperatures go below freezing for our groomers to get on the snow and begin to work their magic. Our snowmaking team will be firing up Tuesday afternoon as temperatures allow and should be running full bore by Tuesday night with good cold air in place. For Wednesday, we currently anticipate operating the Mogul Mouse lift to mid station, Sir Henry’s learning area, and Sterling Mountain.
