Family fun

3 Mountain Logo

In our family, we all ski and snowboard. We are better skiers than we are snowboarders except my daughter Hayleigh. Her skill level is pretty equal in skiing and snowboarding. My daughter Hannah did not snowboard at all last season but wants to do a good bit of riding this year. Hannah, Hayleigh, and I all went snowboarding together today on Morse Mountain. As a refresher, we started by going to mid-station. After building some confidence on the lower half of the mountain we headed to the top of Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift. We all had a great time doing laps on Garden Path and Sam’s Run.

Tomorrow we plan to have the Village Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Sterling Lift, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift all open. We have 29 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 13 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Garden Path, Magic Learning Trail, and Black Snake for a total of 56 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 40 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of snow early becoming rain later little accumulation possible with a high of 41 degrees and breezy.
