Great snowmaking weather

3 Mountain Logo

We are presently making snow on Midway, Meadowlark, Black Snake, Snake Bite, and the Practice Slope. Currently, it is partly sunny and 6 degrees at the summit of Sterling with light winds. The colder temperatures allow our snowmakers to run the guns at full throttle! The calm winds allow the snowmakers to put the snow where they want it. Today, we have Sterling Lift, Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 12 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Black Snake and Snake Bite are closed today for snowmaking operations. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 23 degrees at the base and 15 degrees at higher elevations.
