More new snow

We received 2 to 3 inches of new snow overnight and 8 inches in the past 2 days. The Madonna 1 Lift, Madonna 2 Lift, Village Lift, and Sterling Lift are presently on wind hold. We currently have 3 lifts operating, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 76 skiable trails and 17 lift accessible trails presently open. Currently, it is cloudy and 14 degrees at the summit of Sterling with of 25 to 35 mph, gusting to 45 mph. Today forecast is calling for cloudy skies, a chance of a snow shower, windy with a high of 24 degrees at the base and 17 degrees at higher elevations. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 16 to 46 inches. 15 out of the 17 trails have been groomed for today. We will continue to check the winds throughout the day, to see if we can open any more lifts.
