Today: Scattered snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 23 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

Tonight: Snow showers likely, mainly before 1 am. Cloudy, with a low of around 18 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60%—new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible.

We received 4 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and 20 inches in the past week. It is cloudy and 12 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. We have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 76 out of 78 trails open. Upper Madonna Liftline and Robin’s Run are presently closed. 36 trails have been groomed for today, including Drifter, Smugglers’ Alley, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 141 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Upper FIS was groomed last night on the skier’s right half from Catwalk to down to Goat Path. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 40 inches.

The Nordic Center is open with 17 km of cross-country trails and 15 km of snowshoeing. The ice rink is also open.
