We received a dusting of new snow this afternoon and 13 inches in the past 4 days. Currently, it is 4 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for snow showers with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 28 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 70 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 10 to 34 inches. 35 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Upper FIS, Snake Bite, Thomke’s Express, Curley’s Cutback, and Howie’s Wanderer for a grand total of 138 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

The Extreme Challenge is Sunday, February 26th on Upper Madonna Liftline.
