Snowing at the summit

3 Mountain Logo

We received 2 inches of new snow at the summit of Madonna overnight, 4 inches in the past 24 hours, and 8 inches in the past 3 days! Freefall is open from the top. The Headwall and Robin’s Run are also open! Currently, it is snowing and 30 degrees at the summit of Madonna with winds of 5 to 15 mph. We are receiving some clear snow at the base. Dress for success. We have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 69 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 32 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Smugglers’ Alley, and skier’s right on Upper FIS for a total of 127 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The new snow that we received is heavy, but skiing well. Conditions are nice and soft, top to bottom, on all 3 mountains. The George Tormey Challenge race is today on Sterling Mountain with a dual slalom.
