I would like to give a shout-out to our multitalented Smuggs employee, Greg Fatigate. He put together a small terrain park just below mid-station on Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift. The terrain park has two features: a flat fun box and a rainbow box. These features will bring great joy to many. Thanks again, Greg, a.k.a. “Rabbit,” for making this terrain park happen. Maybe the terrain park should be called the Rabbit Hole or My Hoppy Place. Today, we have 5 lifts operating: Village, Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Madonna II, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 44 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. 15 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley, Meadowlark, Garden Path, and Lower Chilcoot, for a total of 90 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Today’s forecast calls for increasing clouds throughout the day, with a high of 28 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations. We are presently making snow on Midway. Happy Holidays!
