We’re rolling into winter 2020 with a new array of awards and we are grateful for all the support we receive from our Smugglers’ family! We are proud to announce that for the fourth time in five years, Vermont’s hip local paper SevenDays VT has named us best ski slope in Vermont! This award is voted on each summer by thousands of Vermont locals. If you had anything to do with it, THANK YOU!
Additionally, we are proud to announce that the 2020 SKI Magazine Reader Resort Survey has named Smugglers’ as #1 for Family Programs for the 15th year in a row! We were also named #1 for Service, #1 for Local Flavor, and #1 OVERALL in the Eastern United States. Roughly 25,000 votes were tallied and the readers have spoken!

Opening day last season gave us the most open skiable acreage in the USA! We’re hoping for the same, but will, of course, take whatever we can get. Snowmaking has officially fired up and crews are ready to crank out a fresh blanket of snow every chance they can get. Let us do the work this Thanksgiving!
Grab your family and head to Smugglers’ for your holiday celebration. Restaurants will be open and if you’re looking for more of a quiet dinner at “home,” our staff at the Country Store will have prepared meal items packed up and ready to go. Plus, the party doesn’t stop there. We’ll have special events, fireworks, hayrides, ice carving, visits from Santa, and MORE! Did we mention opening day as well? It doesn’t get much better.
