New snow overnight and more in the forecast

3-Day Forecast for Latitude 44.57°N and Longitude 72.78°W (Elev. 2402 ft)

Today: A 50 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 5 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 10 degrees by 4 pm. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tonight: A slight chance of snow showers before 7 pm, then a chance of snow showers after 4 am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.

Thursday: Snow showers likely, mainly between 8 am and 1 pm. Cloudy, with a high near 26 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 21 degrees. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28 degrees. West wind around 8 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

We received 4 to 5 inches of new snow overnight and 2 feet in the past 5 days. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 67 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 46 inches. We are presently making snow on Birch Run, Snake Bite, and Black Snake.
