Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. Got to ski with my dear friends Barry, Anna, and Jade Cohen, and Jade’s boyfriend Nick, as well as Joel, Vicky, and Jay Fein – all hailing from the Philadelphia area. We met at the Resort over 15 years ago and have been friends ever since. Barry says “we’ve enjoyed skiing in Colorado and Utah, but Smuggs is our family’s favorite resort!” Their favorite trails are Doc’s and Moustache. Jay took an upper-level lesson with Martha, and Anna asked, “is that the Martha that leads hikes in the summer?” Yep, that’s the one, I answered.
Elsewhere at the Resort, the Cohens have become friends with Marko the Magician, even booking him for a gig in Philly. Speaking of gigs, Joel sits in on sax with the Smuggs House Band featuring Goodtime Charlie, Jammin’ Sam, Rudy, Chris “Fingers”, and Travis. Now you know why our Resort is noteworthy.
Snow Report Info: ok, back to biz… up to 4 inches of snow today (it’s hard to tell exactly how much, due to windy conditions). 33 trails totaling 127 acres are to be groomed for Wednesday. Sounds like it’s time to hit the slopes.
