The Madonna I Lift is on cold hold. We have 77 skiable trails and 64 lift accessible trails open today. The Madonna II lift will open at 11:00 am today. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. Last night we made snow on Mulcahy’s Link and Lower Madonna Liftline. 34 trails have been groomed for today, including McPherson’s, Wanderer, and Black Snake for a grand total of 139 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently it is cloudy and -9 at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for a chance of a snow showers early then mostly sunny skies with a high of 5 degrees.
