Friday: Snow likely before 1 pm, then snow showers likely after 1 pm. Cloudy, with a high near 21 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible.

Friday Night: Snow showers likely, mainly before 9 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 0 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible.

Tomorrow we plan to have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We have 23 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 20 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snow Snake, and Lower FIS for a grand total of 86 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Sterling, Madonna II, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Currently it is snowing and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. We received 1 to 2 inches of new snow today and 74 inches this season so far.

Friday Night: Snow, mainly after 10 pm. Low around 23 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow and sleet, becoming all snow after 8 am. High near 31 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Today we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Village Lift to the top, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 5 intermediate trails, 5 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open today. All 11 trails have been groomed for today, that’s 46 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

We received a dusting to an inch of new snow overnight and 19 inches in the past week. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. 35 trails have been groomed for today, including Shuttle, Dixie’s Knoll, and Lower Pipeline for a grand total of 132 acres of freshly groomed terrain. This morning we are having an appreciation breakfast for our lift staff. The Sterling Lift will open at 8:30 am. All other scheduled lifts will open at 9:00 am. We received an inch of new snow overnight and 32 inches in the past week. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We plan to have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. 38 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Drifter, and Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 147 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is cloudy and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies early becoming partly sunny this afternoon with a high of 33 degrees.
