More snow overnight

We received another 4 inches of new snow last night, 10 inches in the past 24 hours, 28 inches in the past 3 days, and 86 inches this season so far! Sterling Mountain is 100 percent open with amazing conditions. More powder photos to come once the lifts are turning!

Snow

We received 12 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 2 feet in the past 2 days, and 82 inches this season so far! There are snow showers in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow temperatures will be between 22 and 32 degrees. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 40 inches.

Lifts and Trails

The Sterling lift and Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet will be operating tomorrow with 32 trails open. Sir Henry’ s Learning Hill is open for beginners. This weekend we plan to have the Madonna I lift operating, which will almost double our trail count!

24th Annual BrewFest, Part 1 is Saturday, December 8th in the Meeting House from 6:00 pm till 10:00 pm. Our BrewFest highlights some of our state’s excellent breweries plus regional favorites and craft ciders. Enjoy samples from Stony Creek, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Angry Orchard Cider, and Truly Spiked and Sparkling. If your tastes run closer to home, don’t miss samples from Vermont’s own Long Trail, Magic Hat, Otter Creek, Shed, Boyden Valley, Citizen Cider, Zero Gravity, and more. More breweries are being added; stay tuned! A DJ spins the tunes and the Mountain Grille puts on a tasty appetizer buffet. 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm in the Meeting House. We received 2 inches of new snow last night and 5 inches in the past 6 days. Today we have the Sterling lift operating with 19 trails open for intermediates and experts. 16 trails have been groomed for today, that’s 44 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

Today’s forecast is sunny skies with a high of 32 degrees. Closing weekend April 14th and 15th we plan to have both the Madonna I Lift and Sterling Lift operating.

We have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating. We have 46 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 39 trails have been groomed for today, that’s 135 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Today’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies early with a chance of a snow shower in the afternoon and a high of 33 degrees.
