The Boyden Valley Winery invites you to join them for a "European Winery Experience in Vermont." Visit for a tour of the winery, complete with tastings, gourmet cheeses, fresh fruit, and breads. Cheese plates purchased for guests under 21 will be served with juice.

Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Meet at the Boyden Valley Winery; stop by the Guest Services Desk for directions. $19.95 + tax per person. Advance registration required, limited space available. Available September 2 - October 13, 2014.

Sample some of Vermont's unique and delicious treats on this day trip - Depart Smugglers' Notch Resort and travel to historic Stowe. Visit Laughing Moon Chocolates, home of delicious handmade chocolates. Witness a chocolate dipping demonstration, taste the decadent samples and purchase some chocolates to enjoy back at Smugglers'. Travel up the mountain and arrive at the Trapp Family Lodge where the “Sound of Music” resonates the minute you arrive. Gather for a history tour and learn of the Von Trapp family’s journey from Austria to Vermont and why they purchased a small farmhouse in Stowe. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Trapp Family Lodge and an included tasting of 4 of their renowned lagers. Created by Johannes von Trapp, these lagers are an American version of the tasty lager he has enjoyed in Austria. Visit The Vermont Annex, retail outlet for Cabot Cheese, Lake Champlain Chocolates and Danforth Pewter. There will be time to shop and enjoy the free samples! For the perfectly sweet ending to a busy day, visit Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory for a tour and a taste. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Organic Farm to Table Dinner and Tour
Tue. 5:15 pm - 8:30 pm
An educational and delicious dining experience at Valley Dream Farm in Cambridge! This family-owned organic farm is set in a picturesque valley outlined by gently rolling hills and the breathtaking backdrop of majestic Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. Your evening begins with an informational tour hosted by the farm's owners, the Tisbert family. As you stroll around the farm, you might even get to harvest vegetables or cut flowers for the dining table!

After the farm tour, mingle with the farmers while enjoying a first course of appetizers. An outdoor covered porch decorated with fresh flowers is the setting for a dining experience like no other - the delicious meal is prepared for you by a local guest chef from one of our area's finest restaurants!

Served family style, the meal begins with an abundant salad and fresh bread. Entrees feature a choice of savory meats and an array of the the farm's seasonal certified organic vegetables and herbs, picked at their peak of freshness. Valley Dream Farm's abundant produce selection ensures that a vegetarian entree option is always available. Dinner is complemented by other savory local foods and Vermont products.

Dessert and fresh coffee from local coffee roaster Brown & Jenkins become the grand finale to this delightful farm dinner.
Families with children are welcomed. The Farm Store is open for additional purchases.

Dinner and tour - $65 + tax per adult, $39 + tax per child under 10.
What to wear: Dress casual/comfortable and bring a sweater or jacket for cooler evening temperatures.
What to bring: You are welcome to bring a beverage of your choosing to complement your meal. Openers and wine glasses are provided.
Driving time to the farm is 15 minutes.
Advance registration at the Guest Service Desk is required. Sign-up deadline Tuesday at 10:00 am. Directions can be obtained at the Guest Service Desk. Tours begin at 5:15 pm promptly at the farm.

Vermont Brewery Tour
Thursday, 10:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Vermont is home to several breweries, microbreweries, nano-breweries, and brewpubs that produce a wide variety of beer. In 2011 and 2012, the Brewers Association ranked Vermont as the state with the greatest number of breweries per capita. Come along and taste what we’re bragging about! Your first sip of the day starts at Lost Nation Brewery, makers of honest, small batch beer. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser-known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide their brews. Travel down the road to Rock Art Brewery. It began production in Johnson, VT in 1997 and is now distributed in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Jersey! Sample four of their amazing beers, learn how they are made and tour the brewery. Arrive in Stowe at Crop Bistro for a “beer-tasting lunch.” Take a seat in the Biergaten, sample six of their brews and dine on a “Crop Sampler Lunch.” Meet the brewer during your visit. Your “brew crawl” ends at The Trapp Family Lodge. In just a short time, Trapp Lager has gained high acclaim among lager aficionados. Sample their four lagers during your visit.
