Year-round Zip Line Canopy Tour

Smuggs takes fun to a whole new height!

We invite you to join us in the trees for a zip line eco-adventure like no other. Escape from the everyday rush and come soar through the wilds of the Green Mountains of northern Vermont at Smugglers' Notch Resort.

Discover why Travel + Leisure magazine listed us as one of the "World's Coolest Zip Lines", Yankee Magazine chose us as a 2012 Editors' Choice for Best of New England, and Outside Magazine's Adventure Advisor Blog listed us as "One of the Best Wilderness Zip Line Tours in the U.S."

ArborTrek Smugglers' Notch offers eco-adventures ranging from SERENE to EXTREME. Our zip line canopy tour is fully-guided and combines the thrill of high-speed zip lines with stunning views of the region and commentary on the local ecology, natural history, and lore of Smugglers' Notch. Our new tree climbing program and treetop obstacle course are designed for those who want to get physical and includes more than 40 obstacles like wobbly bridges, rope swings, cargo nets, zip lines, suspension bridges, and balance beams.
Zip Line Canopy Tour

Traverse high above an ever-babbling mountain stream and spend time among centuries-old hemlocks, mature sugar maples and paper birch on Vermont's first world-class zip line canopy tour.

Designed to educate, entertain, and inspire, the zip line canopy tour consists of a series of zip lines through dense mountain forest, suspension bridges, and rappels. Travelling in small groups, each tour is accompanied by two guides familiar with the local ecology and natural history who are prepared to deliver an unforgettable experience.

So whether you're 9 or 90; a thrill seeker, nature lover, or both; we're certain the canopy tour will be an experience you'll share and recount for years to come. Bring yourself, your family, your friends, your church group, and your work group … but remember, while the canopy tour is open year round, advance reservations are required.
