Llama trekking is a fun family adventure
Enjoy hiking spectacular, scenic trails in the Green Mountains with friendly, fluffy pack llamas!
September 2 - October 13, 2014.
Families love our llama treks, which provide an opportunity to hike and picnic with these gentle, intelligent creatures, from the Northern Vermont Llama Company, in the woods and trails surrounding Smugglers' Notch. Llamas were bred as pack animals for use in the mountains of South America thousands of years ago. Llamas transport your picnic of fresh fruit, baked goods, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and beverages.
Remember, llamas are pack animals only. These 3 hour treks are fun for all ages, but are not stroller accessible. Please come prepared for hiking with sturdy footwear and water. You may just fall in "llove" with a llama!
Wednesday, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. $55 per adult, $35 per child ages 7 - 12, children 6 & under FREE. Advance registration required, minimum of 4 people required, limited space available.
