There's nothing like a three-day weekend to kick off the summer — Memorial Day weekend at Smugglers' Notch. There's so much to do, you're not going to want to miss this weekend.

Llama Treks
Saturday — 10:30 am - 1:00 pm Hike and picnic with these gentle, intelligent creatures from Northern Vermont Llama Company in the woods and trails surrounding Smugglers' Notch. Llamas are pack animals only, you may not ride them. Come prepared for hiking with sturdy footwear and water. $70 per adult, $50 per child ages 6-12. Children 5 & under free.
Paint and Sip (BYOB)
Saturday — 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm $45 per person, meet in the Nordland Library. Preregistration required. Alcohol is not provided, you must provide your own.
Memorial Day Barbecue
Saturday — 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Barbecue with beer specials. $30 per adult, $10 per child under 10. 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm "Ryan Podd Express" live on the Village Green.
Sunday, May 26
Mountainside BYOBBQ and Splash Party — 5:00 pm Join your neighbors for an old-fashioned family picnic. Meet new friends and learn about the week ahead. Complimentary community barbecue grill and condiments are provided. Bring your own entrée for your family to grill. Meet at Mountainside Water Playground.
