All of our policies are subject to change based on the evolving nature of the pandemic, as well as federal, state, and local public health guidelines.

We want you and your family to be safe when traveling to Smuggs. The information below covers the current Resort policies & guidelines. This will be updated as needed to guide you.
For the easiest access to the upper mountains, go to the top of Morse Mountain then take the Midway trail over to Madonna and Sterling mountains. To return to the Village from the upper mountains take the Meadowlark trail. Shuttle service from the Village to the upper mountains is also available from the Welcome Sign in the Village.

Comfortable Carrying Capacity (CCC) is the Resort's ability to control volume for parking, lift services, and accessible terrain to preserve a quality experience. When the CCC has been met the daily lift ticket sales will cease and tickets are no longer available. We suggest guests purchase lift tickets in advance.
Currently, there are no public health orders in place mandating physical distancing on lifts. Therefore, we will load lifts at two people per chair.
Ski & Ride Guests
A limited number of daily lift tickets will be available for purchase due to maintaining our comfortable carrying capacity. We strongly recommend all Ski & Ride Guests purchase, and reload their tickets online, in advance.
